Hello, I’m Lauren, founder of Miamie, a luxury matcha brand born from a deep love for matcha and a desire to create something truly beautiful, authentic, and lasting.
For years, I have always loved the ritual of my daily matcha, the calm, the intention, the way it makes me feel. But despite how much I loved it, I struggled to find a matcha that met all my standards here in Australia. I wanted something I could trust, pure, organic, true ceremonial grade matcha that tasted as good as it looked. Something consistent, flavourful, and vibrant.
At one point, I realised I was spending around $10 a day just to get that perfect cup from cafés, and still, it wasn’t quite right. So I started making it myself at home. That quiet 5-minute ritual each morning became something special, a time to slow down and start the day with intention.
Since making the switch from coffee to matcha, I’ve truly never felt better inside and out. My energy is more stable, my mood is calmer, and I no longer feel those early afternoon crashes. But it’s not just how I feel, it has helped my appearance too. The area under my eyes are brighter, my face feels more sculpted, my skin is clearer, and my stomach is noticeably flatter. Matcha has become so much more than a drink, it’s my daily beauty ritual.
So, I created Miamie.
Our matcha is 100% first harvest organic ceremonial grade, crafted in the heart of Uji, Kyoto Japan, where the most revered matcha in the world originates. It’s smooth, rich, and full of umami, with that gorgeous, vibrant green colour that only truly premium matcha can offer.
But Miamie is more than just what’s inside the tin. It’s a reflection of my personal aesthetic, minimal, feminine, elevated. I wanted matcha to feel like a moment of beauty in your day, so I created a full ritual experience with our curated Matcha Sets, including handcrafted bowls, bamboo whisks, scoops, holders, and sifters, all designed to live beautifully on your kitchen bench, not hidden away in a cupboard.
